Lonestar Meadery was founded in February of 2020 by friends that had a plan to manufacture one of the oldest forms of alcohol, MEAD. Mead (i.e. honey wine) is estimated to be around 9000 years old ( according to the newest historical findings). And it’s the only alcohol to spontaneously create itself!
We strive to bring back old traditions while applying modern crafting techniques and exploring new exciting flavors and concepts. What started as a hobby has evolved into a passion for creating and sharing our artesian small batch creations with enthusiasts and new fans alike.
Our menu rotates with the seasons; we have a roster of 30+ varieties and we add new favorites each season. We offer glasses, bottles, flights, and have specialty cocktails and other sweet alcoholic treats including our mead ice cream.
Our tasting room is open Weds-Sunday, and we welcome families, stock lots of games, and on our slower days welcome well-behaved leashed pups. Come relax by our “fire” immersing yourself in our cozy tavern-like setting.
